Dr Susan Smith
I qualified in 1986 having trained in Cambridge and Oxford, and then completed GP training in Ipswich. To be a GP was my career choice since being a child.
I enjoyed being a fulltime GP partner in Ipswich for 30 years, and recently cut down to working part time and moved to TRMC. I have been a GP trainer for many years, with a special interest in communication skills as well as women’s health. I love music and am a keen cellist. I also volunteer as a ‘Compassionate Companion’ supporting people reaching end-of-life.
