Gender: Male
I joined the East of England Ambulance Service in 2003 working initially as an Emergency Medical Technician for 3 years. In 2006 completed the IHCD Paramedic course and became a registered Paramedic. In 2007 I achieved the certificate of higher education in Emergency Medical Care. In my final years, I became a qualified level 6 Mentor working with university students during their Ambulance placements. My passion to teach led me to work on the Training Ambulance based out of Ipswich.
I enjoyed nearly 15 years with the Ambulance Service working on both Ambulances and Rapid Response Cars. Although I enjoyed emergency medicine I wanted to get to know my patients and enhance my general knowledge of medicine, hence the reason for moving into Primary Care.
